Butler Beach Realty LLC opened its doors in Brooklyn in 1924. An office to serve Breezy Point, Rockaway Point and Roxbury opened in 1979. Butler Beach Realty agents specialize in sales and rentals in the Breezy Point Cooperative, Inc.
Patricia Butler-Mitchell
Founder
Patricia Butler- Mitchell became a N.Y. State licensed real estate broker in 1977. Prior to that she worked as a licensed salesperson learning all the aspects of the real estate business. Pat has served as President of the Brooklyn Board of REALTORS, as well as President of the South Shore Mulitiple Listing Service. Pat taught the real estate salesperson course for three years, was a member of the Women's Council of REALTORS and Chairperson of the Brooklyn Realtor Political Action Committee.
Pat purchased a summer home in Breezy Point in 1974 and shortly after purchased a year round residence where she still resides. She is active in the Breezy Point community having served on many committees.
Pat has closed the Brooklyn office but still has an active role in Butler Beach Realty.
Sarah Stokes
Sarah Stokes followed in her mother and grandmother's footsteps and became a licensed real estate salesperson in 2017 bringing a third generation to Butler Beach Realty.
Sarah graduated from Loyola University Maryland in May 2016. Along with working for Butler Realty, Sarah works in Development at a nonprofit organization.
Sarah has lived her whole life in Breezy Point. Her first job was working as a Breezy Point lifeguard; she loves living and working in Breezy!
Nancy Butler Stokes
Owner-Managing Broker
Nancy Butler Stokes followed in her mother's footsteps and became a licensed N.Y. State Real Estate salesperson in 1985 and soon after obtained her Real Estate Brokers License. Nancy began her career in the Butler Realty main office in Brooklyn, NY. They were part of the South Shore MLS and she also sold in both Brooklyn and Breezy Point.
In 1991 Nancy devoted her time to the Breezy Point real estate market and has been managing all the sales and rentals over the past 20 years.
Nancy and her husband have been year round residents since 1990 and raised their three children in the community. For many years Nancy's family had four generations living within the Breezy Point community.
Anne Marie Durante Horgan
Anne Marie Durante Horgan became a licensed N.Y. State Real Estate salesperson in 2000 and has been with Butler Beach Realty for the past 21 years. Anne Marie is extremely professional and prides herself in working closely with her customers and values their working relationship.
Anne Marie grew up in Breezy Point with her immediate family and still resides as a year round resident with her husband and children. She has always been very involved in the Breezy Point community. She served as a Rockaway Point Association Board of Director, served on several Breezy Point Cooperative committees and has been a member of the Rockaway Point Volunteer Fire Department for over 40 years.
Ellen Madden
Ellen became a licensed N.Y. State Real Estate salesperson and came on board with the Bulter Beach Realty family in 2013.
Ellen grew up in Manhattan and spent her summers in Breezy Point. Ellen met her husband in Breezy and purchased their own summer home when their children were young. Ellen recently found her dream location on the ocean where she built a magnificent home after hurricane Sandy and is now a year round resident.
